Accommodation woes

I just received my letter for housing today... i got my choice. No.1 in pict. my university is right on top. circled in pink. my friend stays at 11, and takes 10 mins to walk to school.

I have totally no idea wat the hell i was thinking when i made the choice. ok. no.1 is known as WG. Wohngemeinschaft. it's an apartment with 4 rooms. so, 4 pple share an appartment. ratio of 2 guys 2 girls/ 2 germans 2 foreigners. quite interesting? yeah. i agree. u get a living room among the 4 of u, but washing is done in a common laundry area. i don't understand how they function. anyway, it costs 220 euro per month, and tt does not include misc fees. plus the transport costs i'll have to pay to go to school.

I am trying to change to somewhere ard 9, 10 or 11. i hope i can get a room in time. those places offer single room (think pgp). my friend staying there now shares the level with 6 others. difference from WG is prob don't have a living area? yeah.. well, it costs 170+ euros. which means, 50Euro cheaper per month. i'm staying there for at least 6 months... altho my father says it's ok, i still hope i can change. it's quite a significant amt over 6 months. and it pains me to see him work so hard and i'm like spending his money like water.

I'm glad i got BW scholarship. too bad i didn't do well for my uni... if not, i could have applied for NASA and get a substantial amt in total. okok.. 'too bad' and 'if's will never come. so i shall go sleep n not think abt them. just hope for the best....

Meanwhile, i pray my visa is flying to me. if it's crawling, i'll never get it in time.
